    Demian Maia or Yuushin Okami

Internationally, Jacare can beat him probably.

I believe the person that will beat Silva is someone that has a strong ground game, like Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Lyoto Machida might if he controls the pace of the fight like he seems to always do.

Really, I think any of the upper portion of the light heavyweight division will give him a run for his money. Remember Silva’s most recent losses were by submissions from fighters with just above average fighting skills.

GSP or BJ would also give him a good match, although there size would be a huge disadvantage.

He says hes going to concentrate on middle weight again so I dont really know. Id love to see bisping have a go at him. After going through Dan and Rich I dont thing anyone else really has a chance at 185lbs. If he fights a more xp 205 lb I think theres a number of people could beat him ie chuck, rampage, Wanderlei, forrest. No mater what hes an amazing fighter and very respectful.

not in 185. i think hes too dominate and strategic for a 185 fighter to beat him, however there ae several at 205. Wanderlei, Forrest, Rampage, and Chuck could def hold their own against him. he would have a wicked tough run if he stays at 205

I think the battle of the silvas has got to happen. Wanderlei and anderson. Also Lototo Machida. Who even knows what that guy can do…… I think CHuck lidell would loose honestly and how bout Fedor … Also people under estimate Forest so much

Silva’s has shown to be susceptible to take downs and I think a person with good Ground and Pound could take him out. W. Silva, Fedor, Couture, etc…. I also think Chuck L. would do good because of his counter punching style but I believe alot of the 205′s could beat him because then he is giving up one of his strengths, his size he would actually be the smaller guy for a change at it could make a difference for him if he faces a wrestler and if he takes Silva down it will be harder for him to get up or improve position. Silva may need to just stick to middleweight and occasionally fight at 205 because I just don’t think he would fair well against the elite 205s.

Just to sum it up styles make fights and a wrestler with good ground and pound I believe would give Silva a hard time or an awkward counter striker like Chuck.

At this point it’s safe to say that he’s unlikely to be beat at 185 anytime soon unless someone drops weight and fights him at 185. As far as him fighting at 205? Everyday he is 215-220 so he’s cutting weight to make 205 anyhow so he’s not a small dude. Previous to the UFC he fought 205 as well so it’s nothing new to him either. I don’t think he’ll destroy the 205 division but he’d fair just fine there. A few fighters that he would not have any issues with are Rampage, Forest, Silva. Liddel would be a decent match up because his takedown defense is unparelleled and his knockout power doesn’t even need to be discussed. Machida would be a good match up.

The 205 division is a much deeper division then the 185 division with the UFC. My guess is you will see both Anderson moving up to 205 as well as top 205′s dropping to 185 to create super-fights.
