Is Machida going to bring traditional martial art values to mainstream MMA?
Does anyone else think that it woudl be great if Machida could be a role model for discipline, humility, focus etc that traditional martial arts teach? I think it would be great to have an ambassador to the bigger aspect of martial arts.
#1 UFC yes but he still has much more success ahead. His name is not that well known right now.

I think Machida, GSP, and ANderson Silva would be great role models to incorporate traditional arts into MMA (GSP is trained in Kyokushin style Karate and Silva in TKD). Even though there are guys out there who train in tradtional arts such as Karo Parisyan (who is not the most humble fighter IMHO), only a few posses the qualities of humility, respect, focus, etc. that would make them true ambassadors. 2 out of the 3 are champions and Lyoto could very well be on his way for a title shot.
he has, where have u been…
