What do you think of Anderson Silva versus Thiago Silva?
Now that Thiago has destroyed Jardine, I’m trying to figure out who would make a good next opponent for him en route to another title shot. Rampage and Evans are taken, Liddell has retired, and Wanderlei and Griffin are coming off two bad losses in a row. So I’m think Anderson Silva, the winner of which gets the title shot. If not Anderson (he is after all supposed to fight Hendo next) who in your opinion would make a good candidate for Thiago’s next fight? Tito Ortiz maybe?

Honestly lets look at the UFC
In each division there are not a lot of quality fighters.
The Heavyweight division is stacked.
But that is it.
Light Heavyweight Lyoto is very good, and other then him not much
Jackson great stand up, but no ground game
Evans he relies on a stand up that is based on luck, and left his wrestling back on the farm.
Griffin…. waste
Liddel, never has learned to keep his hands up..
Dan Henderson, could take anyone of them.
Middleweight Anderson Silva

Dan Henderson should be up to par the next time the fight
the 1st time he was burned out from cutting weight from Light Heavy to Middleweight. This will not be the case the 2nd go.

Not only does he come in on fight night 15-20 pounds over the 170 mark but that division sucks. Josh Koscheck? He has no business standing up, but he doesn’t use his wrestling anymore.
Lightweight- BJ Penn

Sean Shrek was a terror but he was also juiced up.

ANDERSON HATES WANDERLEI – I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THAT FIGHT
First, i dont think the spider needs to fight anyone just to get a title shot at LHW. He can just ask Dana and im sure the title fight will be given. But he will never fight the current champ Lyoto Machida.
Thiago Silva has great KO power but whenever i think of his fight with Machida, i guess the result would almost be the same if thiago fights Anderson.
The spider will destroy him.
A good fight for Thiago will be against the loser of rashad vs. rampage or against Shogun Rua (after he lose to Lyoto).
This would give him more popularity and will also test his stand-up skills.
i would have to say anderson and lyoto since lyoto beat thiago just think it would be a better fight
Since the fight with Jardine was in LHW Thiago should fight Wanderlei in LHW. But the question is will Wanderlei stay in LHW or go ahead with moving to Middle weight. A good fight to Thiago would be to fight to fight Houston. Since all the good fighter are booked for other fights.
Benji F your out of your mind, Heavyweight is the second weakest division behind middleweight, there is nobody besides Mir and Lesnar, as far as Anderson vs Thiago. Lets not get carried away, Thiago faced a heavy bag in Jardine who never blocks anything, he wouldn’t land a punch on Silva like Forrest did
They are going to try to build Thiago up in that division. They aren’t going to throw him in there with Anderson Silva to get beat and have to start back from the bottom. Though it would probably be interesting to watch. My money would be on Anderson for sure. Anderson is on a level of his own, no body is going to beat him right now. Same with machida.

Ortiz will be a better match-up although he has a lot of ring rust. But The Spider VS Thiago Alves, sorry man, but The Spider is going to knock him out just like how Machida knocked him out.
thiago is worse then griffin
the only good person he ever beat is jardine and hes not even that good.
