What would be the best way to beat Anderson Silva?
n your opinion, what would be the best game plan to beat UFC middle weight champ, Anderson Silva?
if I wanted to stand with silva and exchange, what would be my best tactic?
I notice that when he gets your timing, he drops his hands, maybe faking my timing, letting him drop his hands, and then changing my timing would work?

I’d use a tazer.
hope to catch him with a punch or kick… only luck is going to beat him…. maybe a wrestler. rampage could take him to the ground but still then anderson is excellent in BJJ
On the ground. I think Vitor Belfort would be an amazing challenge for Anderson.
put a shank in your shorts and stab in the thai clinch
Wandy beat him in training knocked him out!
He is an awesome mma striker and has good BJJ but he dosnt use wrestling the way GSP does
Pressure him, Don’t give him space to do anything. Every time he gets going is because people give him space to do so. Or just try what Ryo Chonan did, he caught the Spider with A FLYING SCISSOR HEEL HOOK,that’s right, don believe it? Type this in you tube: Anderson Silva caught by Flying Scissor Heel Hook.
Anderson Silva, in my opion is this best fighter in the UFC today, but if I wass going to have to fight I think the best way to beat him would be by a a kind of leg lock. When he’s in the clinch a fighter should just try to catch one of his knee’s take him down and try a knee bar or heel hook. Plus, he’s been submitted by a flying scissor heel hook before.
First off, I wouldn’t try to stand and trade shots with him. Definitely a bad tactic unless your jaw is made of stone.
Best tactic would be to slip him some Exlax in his drink before the fight. Other than that, you’re screwed.
Ask Ryo Chonan, Daiju Takase, Luiz Azeredo since they were able to do it.
You only have two options. Stand and kickbox or get the take down. You have to avoid getting KTFO trying to take him down. If you succeed work your way to ground and pound and try frustrating him that way. Basically if your gonna stand with him you will lose 9/10 times, maybe more. On the ground you should have better odds. Either way you have got be good at avoiding his pin point striking and top class at take downs. Brock Lesnar?
build an immunity to cobra venom and bring a dozen or so spitting cobras in the cage with you
I think the only guy i can see who can beat Anderson Silva is Rashad Evans don’t ask me why watch his fights !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
I would tell him theres a spider behind him and when he looks I’ll POP HIM IN THE FACE!!!!!!!
Getting lucky. I think the only way he can be beat is by taking him to the ground, holding him down and staying busy enough to not let the ref stand u back up. Good luck because you will have to take him down 5 times seeing as he is the champ. He’d probably nail you with one of those knees on your way in though. I’m not a fan of Silva at all, but i respect his abilities.
sorry to burst your bobble but let me break it to you, the guy has an extensive resume of experience and believe me that guy will not be surprised with anything that you or I could come up with. What you miss is the fact that he is way too fast and that he composure is way above anyone else. His precision is something to talk about too, he is a k-1 striker with few misses unlike the mma overall fighters who tent to miss. The guy can finish anyone with a variety of techniques and that impressive knockout elbow. If you really want to come up with a tactic to beat him, you have to be able to match his speed not only his strike speed but also your reaction. while most see a kick and our body unable to react people like him catches them and counters. that’s the difference, his brain has been build for fighting that took so many years of repetitive practice. Now you tell me how can you beat a guy that can simply see everyone in slow motion and able to simply counter with lightning precision. I can’t say Machida has the tools to beat him, because that fight may never happen. Machida also has the speed and precision but you know he has practiced since he was 3. you may come up with a good tactic, but if your brain is simply slow to react there is no way to beat him. most fighters try to go out with combos and try to catch you with a good one, only few can avoid them and counter and Anderson is best at it.
he drops his hands sometimes, mostly to make you come in and then he knocks you out, it’s hard to say how to beat him because he’s a phenomenal striker, and a phenomenal jiu jitsu fighter. Very good fighter who usually have very good game plans have failed to figure out a plan against him. He’s beaten strikers, he’s beaten jiu jitsu fighters, he’s beaten wrestlers.
