Who do you think can defeat Anderson Silva?
Anderson Silva is considered by many to be the pound for pound best in the UFC and the MMA world. In your opinion, who do you believe is best capable of defeating Anderson Silva? I’m speaking of people who are in or very close to his weight class. In other words, don’t include heavyweights in your answer. I hope I’ve made this question clear enough.

Well there are few people who CAN beat him, but If he trains and fights to his full potential it would be very hard. But If he fights like he did against Cote at UFC 97 then dont be surprised if Leites submits him later this month. Hopefully he brings his “A” game
well any heavyweight would die against anderson regardless besides fedor, which would still be an interesting matchup
I doubt anyone will outstrike anderson, so your best bet is submitting him which demian maia is known for.
dan henderson gave him trouble for an entire round but he made a mistake, got cocky, and felt he needed to strike with him in the second round which led to his demise. a rematch with him would be nice
also I believe Nate Marquardt has the tools to give him problems
Out of the people he faces:
-Thales Leites can submit him if he doesnt train hard enough
-Michael Bisping can TKO him with quick striking
-Dan Henderson can knock him out with either hand or ground and pound
-GSP can beat him by confusing him with a combination of striking and takedowns
-Patrick Cote has shown he can withstand Silva’s striking and might be able to knock him out
Deman Maia if he can pull guard and submit without getting KTFO.
