i dunno cause silva is the man!!!! but some people id like to see that might give him a run for his money, the new commer and oneof my favorites kendall grove 10-5-0 hes pretty damn good. or maybe jorge rivera
i dunno, but in my opinion if anyone has a good chance at beating or even competeing with Silva, id have to say if by any chance Georges St-Pierre moves up to his weight class….that would be a bad ass fight to see!
Hendo was doing ok in Round 1
Definitely a wrestler though. Someone who could put him on his back and GnP without being submitted.
Anyone who can handle taking 50 knees to their face and is better at BJJ then he is… so no one anytime soon…
Silva is hard to defend against. I mean he has his ground game and striking down pat. I think Mike Bisping may be able to go for it. Who knows only time will tell.
signing matt lindland would be the best option…
I’m thinking Lindland, or Henderson in a re-match, Filho might be interesting but filho is silva’s training partner so they won’t fight
Dan Henderson (Hendo) without a doubt and I would put my money on Hendo in their rematch. Hendo was stubborn and decided to stand too much against Silva in their fight and that was a bad idea. Hendo is a world-class wrestler with great grappling and also with powerful hands. But more importantly. He is mentally tough, which is an important factor against someone who’s been so dominant as Silva. Hendo was given two fights against two of the best fighters in the UFC. That is very tough when you havent fought in the cage for years. After Hendo beats coupleof guys, he should be primed to beat Silva and take the title.
at 185 hendo. matt lindland is a poor man’s dan henderson. even though lindland is an olympic silver medalist, dan has been able to use his wrestling in mma more effectively. also hendo is a much better striker than matt. but as i’m sure you already saw hendo couldnt do much against silva even though stylistically he’d have the best chance to beat him.
i think the only possible way anderson will lose is if he decides to move up to 205 to challenge rampage. even if he did though i’d put that fight at 50/50 to decide who’d win.
so pretty much what i’m trying to say is anderson is really really good
Sorry to tell you but UFC has all most bought out Pride
