Why does Rich Franklin become dizzy when he gets 5 knees in the body and not the head from Anderson Silva?
I thought for a person to become dizzy he has to get hit in the head and not the body like Anderson Silva did.
Why does Rich Franklin look all dizzy when he only got hit in the mid section and not the head?

hold your breath for two minutes…you’ll get dizzy. blows to the body make breathing properly difficult, and lack of oxgen to the head can make you dizzy. A “solar plexus” strike can force the wind from your lungs. When you’re punching and kicking and grappling you burn up oxygen very quickly. Try running 50 meters/yards, then holding your breath for just 20 seconds.
Dizzying, huh?
Aside from the K.O getting hit in the body can cause more damage to a fighter then head strikes.
if you get hit in your solarplex it can cause you to become winded and as you get hit again and again everytime you breath and all the air is forced out if you you will get only a little air into your body in say 30seconds. as he is in a fight his adrenaline will be flowing causing his heart rate to go up making his body demand more oxygen. so with a lack of oxygen to the brain you become dizzy
